ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Sifu Steven Bailey - Wing Chun
Wing Chun Gung Fu was developed in the early 1700s in Southern China by Ng Mui and Yim Wing Chun. Unlike older forms of Gung Fu which imitated the movements of animals, it focuses on natural scientific laws, eliminating unnecessary movements to overcome and generate force in the most efficient way. Sifu Steven Bailey has over 40 years of martial arts experience and learned Wing Chun from Master Wing Chun Sifus (instructors) William Chung, Michael Adams, Randy Ford, and Randy Williams.
Master Sifu Joe Hutchings - Jeet Kune Do
Jeet Kune Do was developed in the mid-1960s in Oakland, CA by Bruce Lee and James Yimm Lee, who were endeavoring to create a more efficient and effective self defense method. It utilizes techniques from Wing Chun, Boxing, Fencing, as well as other combat martial arts, to create a more personal, individualized self defense method. The goal of Jeet Kune Do is to end a confrontation as quickly and efficiently as possible, using minimum effort. Sifu Hutchings has over 50 years of martial arts experience and learned Jeet Kune Do from Sifus Joaquim Almeria, John Lopez, Jerry Poteet, and Professor Gary Dill.
